ALL PROCEEDS GO TO S4C - Surfers For Cetaceans

The winds are wailing with the first storm of the season hitting the coast of California.. Great for the swell (which is just starting to turn on) but not so good for kayaking.. After gaining a few extra miles the day before from Emma Wood to Leo Carrillo State Beach & a hectic start to the trip, the crew were very stoked to have a rest day. This also opened the opportunity for an all out jam with everyone sitting in on the session.. A 22 piece band/choir, good vegan food, a few wines & 1 microphone.. Chris 'Morat' Del Moro & Hilton 'Dogman' Dawe leading the way in this one.. A great laugh & so much fun !!

--> LYRICS
theres music in the deep,
it is not in the surfs rough roar
nor in the shelly shore
they are but earhly sounds that tell
how little of the sea nymphs shell,
that sends it's loud, clear note abroad
or winds its softness through the floors
echoes through groves with coral gay,
and dies on spongy banks away
Theres music in the deep.
Theres quiet in the deep,
above let tides and tempests rave
and Earth born winds wakwe the wave,
above let care and fear contend
with sin and sorrow to the end, here, far beneath the tainted foam
that frets above our peaceful home
we dream in joy and wake in love
nor know the rage that yells above.
Theres quiet in the deep..
Yet the wailing winds are the melody..
Wailing winds are the melody.( repeat)
Theres beauty in the deep,
the wave is bluer than the sky
though lights shine bright on high
more softly do the sea-gems glow
that sparkle in the depths below
the rainbows tints are only made
when on the waters they are laid
and Sun and Moon most sweetly shine
upon the oceans level brine.
Theres beauty in the deep.
we dream in joy and wake in love
nor know the rage that yells above.
Theres beauty n the deep.
Yet the wailing winds are the melody.
The storm blast is the deity
the lover is the fitful sea
The wailing winds are the melody.
